  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 box lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Add the marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, combine the ricotta, Parmesan, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Start layering the lasagna in a baking dish: sauce, noodles, meat mixture, cheeses, and basil. Repeat for about 10 layers.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden.
